Silja Holsmer attained a master’s degree in law in 1998. She is a member of the Estonian Bar Association and she has been worked as an attorney since 1999. Before joining Supremia Attorneys, Silja worked at Cobalt Law Firm (previous Borenius), one of the largest law firms in the region. Silja is the member of the Administrative Law Committee of the Estonian Bar Association.
Silja has specialized in dispute resolution and has nearly 20 years of experience in the field. Silja has long-term experience in advising clients in the field of administrative law, including litigation matters pertaining to planning of important spatial objects, building permits, and the environment, including Natura 2000 sites, as well as in the energy sector. Silja has successfully represented clients regarding the renewable energy projects.
Silja additionally advises clients in matters and disputes related to public procurement. Furthermore, she has extensive experience in several other disputes related to public law competitions, including in the field of healthcare and medicine.
